Camping World Truck Series Phoenix Results

Peters wins Phoenix:
#17-Timothy Peters won the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday night. Peters inherited the lead with just under 30 laps to go after then-leaders #4-Erik Jones and #88-Matt Crafton battled over position. The two made contact, and the 4 truck bounced off of the outside wall while the 88 shot down track and into the path of the third place truck, #98-Johnny Sauter. #4-Jones rallied, despite right side damage, and maintains the point lead with one race remaining. #88-Crafton ended the night in 23rd and dropped back to third in the championship standings.
#8-John Hunter Nemechek was second, followed by #05-John Wes Townley, #51-Daniel Suarez, #19-Tyler Reddick, #23-Spencer Gallagher, #32-JJ Haley, #54-Matt Tifft, #4-Erik Jones, and #15-Mason Mingus.
There were 7 caution flags for 37 laps and 9 lead changes among 4 leaders.
Phoenix Race Fast Facts:
Timothy Peters won the 21st Annual Lucas Oil 150, his 10th victory in 206 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
This is his second victory and 15th top-10 finish in 2015.
This is his first victory and second top-10 finish in seven races at Phoenix International Raceway.
John H. Nemechek (second) posted his second top-10 finish in three races at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his ninth top-10 finish in 2015.
John Wes Townley (third) posted his first top-10 finish in five races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Erik Jones # leads the point standings by 19 points over Tyler Reddick.
Toyota has clinched the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Manufacturer's Championship. It is Toyota's eighth title, tying Chevrolet for the most in series history.
