Andy Lindeman wins NETS Shirley Lindeman Memorial at Lee USA

 In his third attempt, driver Andy Lindeman brought home the trophy engraved with his late mother's name. The Shirley Lindeman Memorial Race at Lee USA Speedway belonged to Lindeman's son on Saturday night.An emotional Lindeman was presented the trophy in Victory Lane. and then thanked the series officials and the Cindy Burdick Motorsports team for sponsoring the event, which has been held at a different speedway each season since 2012.Driver Duane Noll had won the previous two races.
 Lindeman started third, but moved past the early leader Glen Noll by lap # 4. From that point on Lindeman set the pace for the field in a green to the checker event. Frank Dumichich Jr. came home second and the current series point leader, Cory Coates third. Rookie of the Year runaway, Tyler Chapman finished in the #4 hole to increase his ROTY points standings.

Four time New England Truck Series Champion Chris Correll took the fifth spot in the 11 truck field.
 Lindeman's win gives him three on the season and leaves him just 3 points out of the championship leader Corey Coates from Ledyard,Conn. with 474 points to Lindeman with 471 with one to go at Thompson Speedway Motor sports Park at the "World Series" Oct.17-19, 2014
